LAOS. 20 Cents. 1952. Sisavang Vong (1904-1959)
- Value: 20 Cents.
- Reign: Sisavang Vong (1904-1959).
Year: 1952.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: FOYAUME DU LAOS · Lao Issara Democratic · CICU UNIS · 1952, group of three elephants under a ceremonial stepped structure. Reverse: 20 CENTS, stylized central geometric floral motif, characters in Lao and date 1952.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).
Aluminum coin with a central hole issued during the early years of the Kingdom of Laos, representative of traditional national iconography. The obverse shows three elephants facing each other beneath a symbolic stepped structure, in a sober sculptural style with well-defined reliefs, while the reverse features a geometric floral motif with the face value clearly arranged. The specimen retains good original luster, reasonably clean fields, and light contact marks typical of the grade, offering a balanced and visually appealing presentation.
