Three solid oak nesting side tables from the Netherlands dating to the 1960s–1970s, in good used condition with minor age-related marks and stains; largest tabletop 52.5 by 29.5 cm at 37 cm high, middle 39.5 by 24.5 cm at 31.5 cm, smallest 27 by 20 cm at 25 cm high.
Description from the seller
These dark oak side tables are rare. They have a strong, robust, and chunky appearance. With a playful twist, the spheres are integrated into the legs.
Tabletops are smooth where the largest table has been used the most and has been cleaned.
Here you can see some water rings and a lighter color where the table has been worn by use. There is a leg that is a bit loose; I sometimes see that it was additionally glued in the past. That is not the case with these tables and is also not necessary. If you do this yourself, after cleaning apply a layer of wood oil to the (large) table. You will nourish the wood and gradually restore it."
The top panels are glued strips of wood. Through this form of woodworking, there is a beautiful display of colors and patterns. This lamination concept strengthens the tables and prevents warping.
The small tables are a lovely addition to a Japandi or minimalist-styled interior. These tables can be completely slid under one another. In my opinion, the bottom two tables have not been used; they have always stood only under the largest one. Minimal (sun) damage. They are side tables, but they can also be placed in a group to function as a coffee table. See the photos.

These tables are sought after for their timelessness and functionality: The design from the 60s/70s is functional and has a clean, minimalist aesthetic that was popular in the Mid Century Modern (MCM) period. The visible grain of wood and the robust finish emphasize the natural state of the material. The natural state of the material underlines MCM but Brutalism is also applicable here. 'Brutalism' in furniture refers to the emphasis on rough, unfinished materials and massive, sculptural forms. The use of solid oak contributes to a heavy and durable appearance. The simple tabletop and the thick legs emphasize the structure of the object itself, this is also characteristic of a brutalist design.
The tables can be arranged in many playful ways. Please view the photos for examples, and also to show the condition in which the tables are. They are solid oak tables that can withstand a bit of wear and are in good condition. Look closely at the photos, and you will get a good sense of these tables. The photos are part of the description.
The tables will be carefully packed and shipped insured.
