Description from the seller
This is a beautiful image of Cundi Bodhisattva (準提菩薩, Zhǔntí Púsà), also known as Cundhi or Chundi!
The distinctive iconographic elements:
The 18 arms (or sometimes 16) that fan out in a fan-shaped pattern.
The seated posture in meditation on a lotus throne.
The elaborate mandorla (aureole) with flames and decorative motifs.
The serene facial expression with a crown
The lotus base with several tiers on a richly decorated pedestal.
The bronze with a beautiful green patina
Cundi is an important bodhisattva in Vajrayana Buddhism and is especially venerated in China, Japan (as Juntei Kannon) and Tibet.
She is regarded as an embodiment of Avalokiteshvara and is known for her power to remove obstacles and provide protection.
The many arms bear various attributes such as vajras, lotuses, rosaries, and other ritual objects, each with symbolic meaning.
The statue is in good used condition with signs of aging. (See photos)

Carefully packed and shipped insured.
Weight: 2100 grams.
