Side table / Serving trolley on castors – acrylic (Lucite), glass & brass-colored metal – Italy, 1980s
Elegant Italian design side table or serving trolley from the 1980s.
The piece features two round glass shelves (top and bottom), clear acrylic legs (Lucite) as well as a handle made of acrylic. The construction is complemented by brass-colored / gold-colored metal elements. The cart sits on castors and is thus flexibly movable.
The combination of glass, acrylic and metal is typical for Italian design of the 1980s, with elegant influences from late modernism and the international interior design of that time.
