In this image of an abandoned quarry, the concept of **absence** is manifested through the grandeur of wounded nature and the silence that envelops the environment. The marble walls, cut and dissected by man, show signs of a vanished labor, while the remnants of technical structures suggest a past of intense activity. Human absence is amplified by the grandeur of the rock, symbol of a natural force now left to dominate the space alone. Human intervention seems temporary and fragile, leaving behind empty traces in a landscape that slowly reclaims its dominance.
