Silver 20 Kreuzer coin from the end of Ferdinand V’s reign in the Kingdom of Hungary, minted at the Kremnitz mint. The obverse features a sober, well-proportioned neoclassical portrait of the monarch, in a clean profile with defined features, characteristic of Central European numismatics in the mid-19th century. The reverse shows the traditional devotional type of the Patrona Hungariae, with the Virgin and Child surrounded by radiant rays, delivering a strong visual impact and deep religious and national symbolism. The specimen preserves good detail in the main reliefs, with moderate and uniform wear at the highest points, fields of gray-silver tone with an antique patina and light circulation marks, offering a balanced and attractive presence appropriate to its grade of preservation.
