Beomaster 1200 type 2501, manufactured in 1970, physical condition very good, functional condition tested and working, includes power cord.
Description from the seller
This still-very-beautiful Beomaster 1200 is in the still-modern white version and has undergone a full service in which anything that was not good or defective has been replaced. For example, all lights have been replaced and all switches and potentiometers cleaned so that they operate smoothly without any sticking or crackling.
After the repair, the device was tested extensively, including all inputs.
The wood of the housing is not in museum condition, as there are a few small damages visible, but they are hardly noticeable. The clearly visible aluminum top plate is in excellent condition and is almost without any damage.
The FM radio is tunable using the large tuning knob, and there are 3 preset stations that can be set. In addition, you can also receive stations on the medium and long wave bands. For both the FM and AM ranges, a simple external antenna must be connected. The strength of the signal and the wave bands are clearly visible with the left red panel lamps.
The sound quality is, as is almost always the case with B&O devices, excellent and warm.
There are connections for 2 speakers and inputs for a turntable and a tape recorder. On the tape-recorder input, more modern devices can also be connected, such as a CD player or your streaming setup.
I am a retired electronics technician/mechanic and I pursue, purely as a hobby, the repair and restoration of hi-fi equipment from this period. For me, good repair is more important than how long it takes. The buyers give me a 100% positive rating, and I’d like to keep it that way.
