Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Two cotton flags from Bahrain and Kuwait in good condition, measuring 143 × 99 cm and 90 × 144 cm respectively.
Description from the seller
1. Beautiful old Bahrain flag from the 1970s.
Printed in red and white cotton with a characteristic serrated edge (five points).
The red fields were applied directly into the cotton fabric by screen printing, a production method typical for flags from this period.
Good appearance with light signs of use appropriate to its age. Decorative and collectible.
Until 1971 Bahrain was a British protectorate.
• In 1971 it gained independence.
• It is now a constitutional monarchy, with a king at the head.
Size; 143 x 99 cm
2. Flag of Kuwait. The current flag was introduced in 1961, when Kuwait became independent from Great Britain. Each color has a symbolic meaning: green for fertility and Islam, white for peace, red for courage, and black for victory in battle.
Kuwait has a strong historical and cultural bond with Bahrain. Both countries lie on the Persian Gulf, are Arab monarchies, and were part of the British sphere of influence before gaining independence. Today they work closely together within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), along with other Gulf states.
Size: 90 x 144 cm
* When purchasing multiple flags, they will be shipped combined. Any overpaid shipping costs will, of course, be refunded."
