Rüdenberg Jun., Hannover 9x12 folding camera; physical condition very good, functional condition tested and working.
Description from the seller
9x12 plate camera, wooden case and aluminum base plate. Inside of the case is mahogany, with the number 23208 in the upper left. Red leather bellows in good condition, double bellows extendable. The draw-out mechanism works fine, the camera folds in and out smoothly. The lens holder is adjustable in height and side-to-side. Ground-glass finder and hood in good condition. The lens, a 7.5 Rapidar, is clear, without scratches or fungus. Unicum shutter works well, timings not tested. The diaphragm also works well. There is still liquid in the spirit level, but the bellows is enlarged. In the upper left of the case a nameplate reading G. Rudenberg Jun. Hannover. The same text on the carrying strap. The camera was indeed sold by Rudenberg, but based on comparison and on internet sources, all indications are that this camera was produced by Luttke & Arndt from Wandsbek/Hamburg. Weight a little over 700 g.
