Offered for auction is a charming antique mechanical pocket watch in a solid silver case, accompanied by chain and fob.
Description
Elegant open-face pocket watch featuring a white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. The case is hallmarked 0.800 silver with crown mark and maker’s stamp, and bears an engraved monogram/cartouche on the reverse. Inner cover decorated with engraved tools motif. The watch is powered by a mechanical hand-wound movement (visible in photos) with regulator marked “Avance / Retard”.
