WHB integrated cabinet bookshelf from the 1960s–1970s with a timber veneer body and a slim metal ladder frame, made in Germany, dimensions 106 cm high by 75 cm wide by 28 cm deep, in good used condition with minor signs of age and wear.
Description from the seller
Shelf with an integrated dresser unit from the 1960s–1970s, redesigned both aesthetically and technically.
The WHB commode shelf showcases the typical functional clarity of the mid-century era: a warm-toned, wood-veneer cabinet paired with a slender metal ladder frame. The open structure feels light and architectural, while at the same time remaining clearly organized.
During the redesign, the shelf boards were given new, neatly finished edges, which refine the appearance and increase structural stability. The side strips inside the cabinet were newly mounted and ensure secure support for the shelves.
The ladder framework and hooks have been repainted. The subdued color choice highlights the graphic contrast between metal and wood without compromising the period-typical character.
The construction is very stable. Signs of age- and use-related wear are present and are consistent with the furniture’s age.
A clearly designed, revised system furniture that combines authentic 60s/70s character with a calm, timeless presentation.
