Maurizio Arcangeli (1959) - Un multiplo

The three-dimensional work by Maurizio Arcangeli (Montecorsaro 1959) is a unique original piece, composed of 10 book-shaped elements measuring 18 x 12 x 4.5 cm each, which give the sculpture its name UN MULTIPLO, but which is in fact a single piece. Each book represents a letter that makes up the title U N M U L T I P L O; they are shaped, and only the last one is signed, dated, and hand-titled in graphite by the artist. The stamp bearing the author's name surrounds the date and signature.
Inside the container box sits the label for the Effe Arte Contemporanea gallery by Patrizia Frigerio, completed and signed by her.
Stored in the gray laminated cardboard box with a lid, the 10 volumes have overall dimensions of 19 cm × 46 cm × 14 cm.
