Gabbeh - Carpet - 240 cm - 170 cm

Hand-knotted rug from India. The basis of its construction is the same for all of them: Ghiordes knot, weft, and wool pile, i.e., a 100% wool rug with a very high knot density, around 250,000 knots per square meter. It uses the finest wool from the animal, especially from the neck and belly of the sheep (Kork wool).

They are mass-produced rugs, and it may be that the small design in the corners has a color different from that in the photo, but this is a very small detail.
