An extremely elegant cigarette case, or also a business-card holder, made in Italy in the Florence jewelry district around the 1930s, as the chasing work with rocailles decorations and decorative elements typical of the Deco period, finely executed, is characteristic of Florentine workmanship from the first half of the 20th century, and the non-circled 800 hallmark in addition to the producer's mark where the city initials (FI) are inscribed attest its origin.
