Fish serving set - Silver, Metal

Antique fish-cutting set, consisting of a knife and a fork, with handles in Portuguese silver bearing the Porto Javali punch and blades in metal.

The silver handles feature bas-relief engraved decoration, with classic motifs inspired by plant life and geometry, typical of Portuguese silverware from the late 19th to early 20th century, highlighting careful and elegant craftsmanship.

These carving knives were intended for fish service at formal tables, and were common in well-to-do households and in full dinner services of the period.

Also included is the original box, fabric-lined, which adds collectible appeal.
