Description:
"Sun Collapse" tells of a moment when the light does not gently disappear, but rather dives, with all its might, into the depths. The red acts like a glowing memory, like a heartbeat, like something that burns and at the same time warms. Beside it stands the yellow – wide, open, almost hopeful – as if it were catching the fall or giving it meaning.

In this painting the sun does not simply set. It plummets – bravely, passionately, perhaps also exhausted – into a space of light. It is a confrontation of heat and vastness, of pushing and letting go. Like a person who has given everything and now lets themselves fall, not out of weakness but out of devotion.

"Sonnensturz" feels like an inner upheaval: intense, overwhelming, yet also clarifying. An instant in which something old burns away and, in the same breath, something new rises.
