Empire Lights – Signée – Édition limitée is a hand-signed giclée on canvas (40 x 40 cm) from France, in excellent condition, limited edition of 20 numbered copies, depicting an urban architectural scene with a certificate of authenticity and ready to be framed.
Description from the seller
The city lights up as night falls. Broadway comes alive, the signs shine, the pedestrians hurry by, and in the distance the Chrysler Building stands watch like a sentinel. An urban scene that is both vibrant and nostalgic, capturing the eternal soul of New York.
In this enchanting composition, LeYack revisits the classic theme of the bathers in a decidedly American aesthetic, between vintage and a waking dream. Three female figures unfold like a temporal echo, between the leap, the waiting, and the memory.
The vast sky, the stark light and the architectural lines evoke the world of Edward Hopper or Alex Katz, but with a subtle, almost cinematic sensuality. Each character seems frozen in their own narrative, caught in a tension between movement and stillness.
Characteristics of the work:
Signature: Hand-signed by the artist on the front and on the back of the artwork.
Technique: Giclée print on canvas, using high-quality pigment inks to faithfully reproduce the details and colors.
