Pedro Durán - Candlestick - .925 silver

Tabletop candlestick in sterling silver, signed by the house Pedro Durán (20th century). Sculptural design with a shaft shaped like a fish, finely worked in scales, head and tail, on a circular fluted base of substantial thickness. Conical upper socket, also fluted, in keeping with the whole.

Incorporates an interior removable counterweight for greater stability. Official star insignia (sterling silver in Spain since 1934).

Height: 15.5 cm · Base diameter: 8.5 cm · Weight: 75 g of silver (302 g with counterweight).

Overall good condition, with patina and light signs of wear typical of silver. A functional and decorative piece, suitable for a collection or for use.
