Lamp - Porcelain, Brass - Made in Germany

This charming table lamp was crafted in Germany to a very high standard from a hand-painted porcelain vase. This porcelain spherical vase captivates with its colorful, hand-painted enamel-glazed decoration. The lemon-yellow glaze features scenes around the exotic garden pond that delight the viewer. Lotus flowers and their magnificent leaves, colorful butterflies, grasshoppers, fish, and a pair of mandarin ducks can be discovered. The lamp’s assembly includes a mechanism to adjust the height. The unused lampshade was handmade in Germany from light-yellow Chintz by the brand JAB Anstoetz. The colors shown may vary somewhat depending on lighting and screen. In one spot the glaze has been restored (see photo).
