A few of them were reprinted from the original woodblocks and published 1974 in an illustrated monograph, with the collaboration of his wife Nina Kandinsky. Original color woodcut executed in 1911, signed in the block with the monogram for the suite "Klange (Sounds)" published in 1913. This impression, one of 1200 proofs printed in the art review "XXe Siecle", No. 3, G. San Lazzaro, Ed., Paris, 1938 from the original blocks under Kandinsky's supervision. Printed on fine-grained, cream wove paper. Arches. Catalog raisonne reference: Roethel 106, Davis-Rifkind 1368:7. Fine condition, slightly yellowed.
