Morris Minor, 1956, Minor 1000 - NO RESERVE, black with 23,887 miles, located in the Netherlands with Dutch registration and a valid MOT until 2099-12-31.
Description from the seller
GENERAL
This very nice Morris Minor is from 1956 and is therefore already 70 years old. In 1991 it came to the Netherlands, and thus has a Dutch registration. It has remained fairly well, and because of a longer period of inactivity in a dry space it now first needs a jump-start. The battery is weak; with a jump starter it starts quickly, and is actually then perfectly drivable. Because of its age the car is exempt in the Netherlands from APK and road tax.
Bodywork
The Morris was originally delivered new in this color, and still looks fairly neat, with room for improvement, such as for example a new coat of paint on the grille. See the photos.
The original rims are in nice used condition, with original Morris hubcaps that really finish the look. The underside was addressed years ago and is in reasonably good condition.
Techniques
In recent years the car has been used very little, so it needs a new battery and a start-up service. The engine runs very smoothly, it also pulls nicely, the brakes work well, and gear shifting and steering go fine. The speedometer doesn’t work, and semaphores are present; for replacement, “normal” indicator lights have also been mounted.
Interior
The interior is in reasonable condition, including the door panels and the floor mats. The headlining was refreshed some time ago and is in good condition.
Documents
This concerns therefore an original right-hand drive Morris with Dutch papers. It can be delivered with EU Export documents (for an extra 50 euros) so that a new buyer can easily have the Morris registered.
TRANSPORT
The car is located in Hengevelde, Netherlands, and can of course be picked up here. The car can be delivered within the Netherlands at an additional cost of 150 euros (excluding the Wadden Islands).
For the foreign bidders
The seller can have the car delivered relatively cheaply to anywhere in the EU by a professional transport company.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
