Set of 3 Vintage Traditional Japanese Deba Knives – Signed Blades – Special Editions

Offered here is a distinctive set of three vintage traditional Japanese Deba knives, all signed and marked as special editions. These are robust single-bevel fish butchery knives designed for breaking down whole fish, cutting through small bones, and precise filleting work.

Each knife carries both blade and/or handle markings, reflecting authentic Japanese craftsmanship.

1) “Matsudo – Special Make” (松戸特製)

Blade length: approx. 14–15 cm
Total length: approx. 27–28 cm

A compact yet solid Deba marked “Matsudo Special Make.”
The blade has a traditional thick spine and pronounced heel, suitable for controlled fish processing and detailed work.

2) “Registered Masatsune – Special Make” (登録 正恒 特製)

Handle branded: “Trademark Masatsune Special Make” (商標 正恒 特製)

Blade length: approx. 15–16 cm
Total length: approx. 29–30 cm

A substantial Deba bearing the Masatsune name, additionally stamped on the wooden handle.
The “Special Make” designation suggests a higher-grade production line intended for serious kitchen use.

3) “Minamoto Shigehiro – Betsuuchi (Special Forged)” (源 重広 別打)

Handle branded: “Sakai Shigehiro Special Make” (堺 重広 特製)
