Frédérique Longrée - Time is not the enemy III

Frédérique Longrée was born in 1971, somewhere in Belgium, and she is still astonished by it.

A musicologist by training, she discovers during her years in Geneva a way to reconcile her love for music, poetry and a questioning of the inalienable Life/Death relationship.
Her work offers, among other things, chimerae, altered young faces, Vanities, always in a surreal vein.
Show that beauty is subjective; that it is fragile, above all.

Her photomontages are created without any recourse to AI and printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic paper, with Giclée photo printing, inks in 12 colors.

Frédérique Longrée has exhibited in Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
She won the 1st Prize of the Opus Continuum Contest in Naples, in 2021.

She collaborates with publishing houses: Asmodée/Edern, L'Âge d'Homme, Cactus inébranlable, Editions du Cygne, Maelström Editions, for whom she custom-illustrates the covers of books or poetry collections.
