Vintage early 1950s Steiff Micki Hedgehog Doll with Original ID & Accessories ​An early production of Micki, the hedgehog matriarch and beloved wife of Mecki, the mascot for the German magazine Hörzu. This version is a 1st-generation design, identified by its early-1950s material composition. Complete original clothings and the the original Steiff paper chest tag. ​Dimensions: ​Height: ca 26-28 cm ​Width: ca 19 cm ​Depth: ca 9 cm ​Weight: 261 g Micki is made with a hand-painted rubber-vinyl head and signature "wild" mohair hair. This model features a harder facial texture and felt soles, which are indicators of Steiff's early production. She is dressed in an original outfit consisting of a blue and red checkered one-piece dress, a white apron (bearing her identification tag), a brown felt vest, and a matching scarf. ​Condition: The rubber face shows some "cracks," but is structurally sound. The mohair hair shows light wear. The clothing shows some fabric pilling (nubs), and the black lacquer on the shoes shows flaking. The original stitching are in place.
