Seven natural Australian gold nuggets weighing 1.024 g from Kalgoorlie–Boulder, Western Australia.
Description from the seller
Sales offer – Natural Australian gold nugget set (7 pieces) – 1024 g
For sale: a collection of 7 genuine, natural gold nuggets from Australia.
The nuggets come from the renowned Kalgoorlie–Boulder Goldfields region in Western Australia. They were obtained through manual prospecting, without the use of chemical or environmentally harmful substances. The extraction was carried out exclusively by mechanical separation and water washing. They are untreated, unmelted natural gold.
You will receive exactly the seven gold nuggets shown in the photos.
Australian gold – especially from the Kalgoorlie region – is among the purest natural gold deposits in the world. The fineness is typically around 22 to 24 karats, corresponding to a gold content of about 96–99%. Small natural inclusions, such as minimal quartz content, may be present and are a typical feature of genuine native gold.
A gold nugget is a naturally formed piece of gold that has separated from its original rock over millions of years through geological processes such as weathering, erosion, and natural currents. Such conditions occur only under very rare and favorable geological circumstances. Less than 1% of the gold found worldwide exists in nugget form, which gives natural nuggets a particular rarity and collector value.
Unlike melted gold (e.g., bars or jewelry), natural gold nuggets are not valued solely by their fine gold content. Due to their natural form, rarity, and uniqueness, genuine nuggets in trade are often priced above the current gold spot price. Depending on size, shape, condition, purity, and origin, valuations in the range of two to four times the gold price are common in the market.
