Description from the seller
Important and refined Capodimonte authentic porcelain tea/coffee service, finely hand-decorated.
The service stands out for its elegant polychrome decoration with figurative scenes in a Rococo taste, landscapes and raised floral motifs, typical of Capodimonte manufacture. The cups feature a precious internal gilding, a distinctive element of high quality and great aesthetic impact.
The handles, molded in elaborate and sinuous shapes, are hand-decorated and enriched with vivid color details. The teapot and other elements present romantic scenes in relief, with classical figures immersed in natural landscapes.
The service includes:
- 12 cups with matching saucers
- teapot with lid
- milk jug
- lidded sugar bowl
Era: mid-20th century (circa 1950–1970)
Manufacture: Capodimonte (Italy)
Material: finely decorated porcelain with hand-applied gold
Conditions: excellent overall condition, gold decoration well preserved. No obvious breakage; normal and slight signs of time consistent with the era.
A service of great value and strong scenic impact, ideal for collectors of Italian porcelain and for a table setting of great elegance.
