The largest and most well-documented research into the birth of our flag, carried out in collaboration with the Tricolour Museum of Reggio Emilia. It aims to contribute to the recovery in contemporary awareness—and especially among new generations—of the founding values of the
our democracy, values that have inspired the highest civic impulses of the Italian saga, guiding it through the centuries to the
modernity. Format 24 x 29.5. Pages 480 of which 16 on Luxor parchment 140 g/m2 and 464 pages on matte coated Furioso paper 170 g/m2. Over 270 images and documents. Cover bound in pale cream-colored flocked cloth, stamped in gold leaf. Facsimile of the 15 sheets containing the address/oration by Giosue Carducci written by him and kept in Reggio Emilia on January 7, 1987.
The interpretation of the Tricolore by Franco Guerzoni, a leading artist on the contemporary scene, is applied.
