Description from the seller
CHICA DE AMARILLO is a 70×100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. In this work, color is not a decorative resource: it is the emotional axis of the piece. The female figure, dressed in a deep golden yellow, radiates light from within a vibrant interior that is boldly chromatic. Her dress, with loose vertical lines, stylizes the silhouette and creates a visual rhythm that dialogues with the deep green background and the blue accents.
The woman appears in an intimate and silent moment. She tilts her head slightly while holding a hat, a gesture that suggests a pause, reflection, or preparation to depart. The hat, which partially covers her face, introduces an air of mystery and classic elegance.
Beside it, a vase with exuberant flowers brings dynamism and contrast. The brushstrokes are broad, expressive, almost musical, especially in the multicolored bouquet reflected in the mirror in the background. This mirror not only expands the space, but also multiplies the presence of color and creates an enveloping atmosphere.
The red table and the small objects—lipsticks or cases—add an everyday, feminine, and contemporary touch, balancing the pictorial intensity with domestic details.
The work recalls Fauvist sensibility in its free use of color, colored shadows, and the simplification of forms. Yet it preserves a narrative delicacy: it is not merely a chromatic study, but an emotional portrait of a woman in transit between intimacy and the outside world.

The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity through a certificate signed by the artist himself.
