Hand-knotted Oriental rug in the classic Sarough design.
The elongated central field is in a warm rust‑orange and is defined by a strictly symmetrical Tree of Life composition. From a central axis, stylized blossoms, palmettes and tendrils grow in blue, dark green, cream and delicate rose tones. Small scatter flowers further enliven the field, giving the rug a lively yet harmonious effect.
In the center there is a horizontally arranged floral element with rosette-like motifs that visually stabilizes the vertical structure. The ornamental floral shapes appear slightly three‑dimensional and are finely contoured.
The light main border clearly stands out from the strong background. It shows stylized floral elements and geometrized blossoms in blue, green and rose on a cream-colored ground. A narrow outer edge in orange neatly frames the rug and echoes the color of the field.
The overall effect is warm, decorative and traditional – with a clear floral form language.
