Sericel inclusief certificaat van authenticiteit

"Spotlight on Romance"

Dit is een sericel in gelimiteerde oplage die Walt Disney's geliefde en werelds beroemdste muizen, Mickey en Minnie Mouse afbeeldt, die een balkonscène spelen van Shakespeares Romeo en Julia.

Deze sericel is een reproductie van een met de hand geïnkte en met de hand geschilderde animatiecel, speciaal gemaakt door The Animated Animations Company en door Disney begeleide animatiekunstenaars.
American Atelier uit Gardena, Californië, gebruikte deze mastercel als referentie bij de productie van deze sericels. In totaal werden 13 kleuren gebruikt om het kleurenbeeld na te maken, die elk nauwkeurig, één kleur per keer, op de cel zijn gezeefdrukt.

The Animated Animations Company en Disney begeleidden de creatie van de interpretatieve achtergrond die bij deze cel hoort. Anderson Printing uit Los Angeles, Californië, heeft het resulterende kunstwerk lithografisch gedrukt op hoogwaardig, zuurvrij papier

The Animated Animations Company publiceerde deze gelimiteerde editie in 2003 onder licentie van Walt Disney Art Classics. Het bestaat uit een algemene oplage van 2000 sericels. Walt Disney Art Classics en The Animated Animations Company keuren de technieken goed die gebruikt zijn bij de productie van deze editie en de proefdrukken ervan. Conform de praktijk van fine art printing worden de zeefdrukken die gebruikt zijn om de editie te maken vernietigd wanneer de editie wordt afgesloten.

De met de hand geïnkte, met de hand geschilderde celmaster en achtergrond worden gearchiveerd bij de uitgever. Er zijn geen genummerde afdrukken in deze algemene oplage. Er zijn geen extra exemplaren van deze afbeelding, inclusief proefdrukken, geproduceerd in deze gelimiteerde editie, behalve indien nodig om stukken in deze editie te vervangen die beschadigd zijn geraakt tijdens de productie of verzending, maar met behoud van de vermelde oplagegrootte.
