Description from the seller
Beautiful lot of antique wood chisels – Japanese & European professional tools
Characterful lot of quality chisels, consisting of both Japanese and one European example. These are real work chisels from an earlier generation: forged steel, wooden handles and an appearance you rarely see in modern tools.
The lot includes among other things an impressive Japanese chisel of approximately 45 cm. All pieces lie well in the hand and show clear signs of artisanal use — exactly what you expect from authentic atelier tools.
The chisels are sharp, but they are in used vintage condition with visible signs of aging, patina and small imperfections. That belongs to their age and adds to their character. Not new showroom pieces, but honest tools with history.
Ideal for:
woodworkers who know how to value quality
restoration projects
collectors of old hand tools
or as a decorative atelier object
Details:
Origin: Japan & Europe
Period: presumably the first half of the 20th century
Condition: used, with normal wear and imperfections
Includes an extra-long Japanese chisel (±45 cm)
A nice and authentic lot for those who love sturdy old tools with soul.
