Mystery Malt is back! Thompson Brothers Mystery Malt Batch 5 is a blind single malt from one of 38 Scottish distilleries, and whatever you get, you know it’s going to be exceptional.

We absolutely love this idea from Thompson Brothers. Presented in opaque black glass, the capsule conceals the distillery and age, making it a lot of fun for blind tastings and adding extra anticipation to the joy of cracking open a whisky.
From youthful drams you rarely see, like Dornoch 5 Year Old, to rare older expressions such as Balmenach 26 Year Old or Glen Garioch 27 Year Old, each bottle is a complete surprise until opened. This series showcases an amazing range of cask types and maturation styles, including a Glen Scotia finished in Tawny Port and Tormore Montilla Cask. It’s a brilliant way to explore whiskies you might not usually try and adds a little extra excitement to every dram.
