A modernist, Art Deco rectangular cheese dome with a pressed-glass dish dating from 1929–1935. The lid fits into the dish so it won’t slide. The set features a pattern of raised stripes and a typical straight geometric form. Made by Val St Lambert in their Luxval Pressed Glass production, this model is called Eclat. The designers are Charles Graffart and Joseph Simon. Fitted with a sticker reading 'Luxval Belgium'. Dimensions: 25 cm x 15 cm x 13 cm.
