We are proud to present a rare 1971 Colnago Super, known among collectors as the "3 Fiori" (Three Flowers) version. This model represents the pinnacle of Ernesto Colnago’s craftsmanship in the early 1970s, a crucial transition period before the brand's logo became standardized. The bike is equipped with a period-correct Campagnolo Nuovo Record group, featuring a rear derailleur stamped "Pat. 71", perfectly matching the frame's production year.
Frame Details (Rarity & Pantographs)
The frame is a masterpiece of Italian steelwork, distinguished by the famous Colnago Ace of Clubs pantographs (often referred to as "lilies" or "flowers" during this specific era) which certify the authenticity and prestige of this lot. The engravings are present in four key areas:
• Head Tube: Double pantograph on both the upper and lower lugs.
• Seat Lug: A rare pantograph on the seat post junction, a highly sought-after detail for collectors.
• Fork: Flat fork crown featuring the iconic Ace of Clubs.
