Universal Genève White Shadow “Micro-Rotor” – Gerald Genta Design – Fully Restored & Regulated

I am pleased to present an exceptional piece of horological engineering and design: the Universal Genève White Shadow, Ref. 867102. This iconic model, created under the influence of legendary designer Gerald Genta, represents one of the most important milestones in ultra-thin automatic watchmaking. The watch has undergone a complete restoration, both aesthetically and technically, and is offered in excellent running condition.

At the heart of this timepiece is the celebrated Caliber 2-67 automatic movement with micro-rotor, featuring 25 jewels. This movement is renowned as one of the thinnest automatic calibers ever produced, a technical achievement that helped establish Universal Genève as a pioneer in slim, elegant dress watches. The micro-rotor construction allows for an exceptionally refined case profile while maintaining reliable automatic winding performance.

The watch has been recently regulated on a professional timegrapher and is performing strongly, with an amplitude of approximately 266° and a daily rate of around -11 seconds per day. These results confirm excellent mechanical health and stable operation. The movement is clean, properly adjusted, and ready for daily wear.

Aesthetically, the stainless steel case has been professionally polished, restoring its mirror-like finish while preserving the elegant lines typical of the White Shadow series. The white dial is immaculate, featuring crisp black Roman numerals and a date window at 3 o’clock. The minimalist layout enhances legibility and reinforces the timeless character of the design. The watch measures 34 mm in diameter (excluding crown), offering classic proportions suitable for both formal and everyday wear. It retains its original signed crown, an important detail for collectors.
