Beautiful set comprising six sugar bowls and lidded pots in fine porcelain from various renowned European manufactories, illustrating the diversity and know-how of decorative and table porcelain of the 20th century.
The lot notably includes pieces from:
Villeroy & Boch — German manufacture founded in the 18th century, renowned for high-quality table porcelains.
CP Limoges — French production with Limousin tradition, heir to the international prestige of Limoges porcelain.
R. Meymard Avignon — French decorative workshop active in the south of France.
Porcelaine Véritable — Romanian manufacturer specializing in decorative export porcelain.
AS 2016 — contemporary European decorative production.
The décors feature a wide range of aesthetics: stylized green floral motifs, hand-applied gilded highlights, neoclassically inspired figurative decoration, and models with gilded arabesques on a pearly background.
This set is a representative testament to European domestic and decorative production of the second half of the 20th century.
