Alfredo Barbini - Paperweight - Glass

Alfredo Barbini is considered one of the world’s most famous Murano glass masters.
The glass he worked on features both the classic shapes of animals and other distinctive objects, as in the case of this hand, surely born as a paperweight.
This rather rare piece is characterized by great realism and the naturalness of the forms, which, when in contact with light refractions, unleash all its expressive power.
