Description from the seller
Gorgeous audiophile amplifier, the NAD C315BEE
BEE, or rather designed by Bjorn Erik Edvardsen. that is the Director of Advanced Development at NAD, a company that was founded in 1973 in London by him and Marty Borish as New Acoustic Dimension and has, for more than five decades, brought innovative no-nonsense equipment to market.
In the case of the C315BEE amplifier, both supply rails are fed from a 150 VA toroidal transformer, with the higher voltage rails provided by PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) loads.
On the front panel one finds from left to right the on/standby switch, the headphone output, the input selector buttons, a Media Player input (3.5 mm mini-Jack), the IR receiver, the tone control with defeat function and the volume control. The input selector buttons are divided into Tape/Tuner/Aux/Video/CD/Disc.
At the rear there are 6 pairs of Cinch sockets for line inputs (including Tape-in), 1 set of Cinch sockets for the Tape-out and a single pair of speaker terminals with shrouded 4mm banana plugs. A power switch and a fixed mains lead complete the setup. The C315BEE is equipped on the underside with the new dome-shaped feet.
Light user marks on the top, otherwise a very neat amplifier for its age.
Output power: 40 watts per channel at 8Ω (stereo)
Frequency response: 20 Hz to 20 kHz
Total harmonic distortion: 0.02%
Damping factor: 200
Input sensitivity: 200 mV (line)
Signal-to-noise ratio: 95 dB (line)
Dimensions: 435 x 70 x 242 mm
Weight: 5.25 kg
Will be carefully packaged and insured for shipping.
