Spagna, signed by Gianni Berengo Gardin, 288 pages, Italian language hardcover with dust jacket, 1st edition published by Touring Club Italiano in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Exceptional copy signed on the title page by Gianni Berengo Gardin (1930 - 2025), unattainable elsewhere on the Internet in a signed edition. 288 pages, over 200 black-and-white and color photographs with detailed captions and locations. Hard cover and illustrated dust jacket. In Excellent condition.
To view the photographic series in full screen, double-click on a photograph, with the option to return to the standard view at any time.
From 1966 to 1986 Gianni Berengo Gardin produced numerous books for the Touring Club of Italy, initially on different regions of Italy in the collection "Attraverso l'Italia" and then on many European countries in the collection "Attraverso l'Europa". He was obliged to meet the publisher's specifications by presenting the sites and tourist monuments, but he also took advantage of these journeys to create more personal photographs that would later join his various anthologies.
The Italian Touring Club also developed a long tradition of collaboration with the most famous Italian photographers over the years, such as Luigi Ghirri, Mimmo Jodice, Pepi Merisio, Giovanni Chiaramonte, Mario Cresci, Francesco Radino, Cesare Colombo, Toni Nicolini in particular.
Book from my personal collection, in very excellent condition; kept with the utmost care. Very efficient protected shipping and guaranteed international postal tracking. For multiple purchases, there is the option of combined shipping with a refund of any excess postage paid via PayPal.
