Description from the seller

Dark-patinated bronze in which is depicted Annapurna, the goddess of sustenance and the home, with a large ladle, her traditional symbol. The goddess wears veils, a bodice, a tall headdress in the shape of a tuft, a long braid that falls down her back, and at her feet a yoni-lingam. Large earrings of an unusual shape that recall prayer shells. The plume of feathers seems to signal an origin in the Himalayas where this type of headdress appears adorning goddesses. The face is fierce and energetic, with strong features and enormous eyes.
