Olivetti Studio 45 portable typewriter, designed by Ettore Sottsass, made in Ivrea, Italy, in good used condition with minor signs of age and stains, in working order.

Ettore Sottsass, Olivetti Studio 45, Rare portable typewriter produced by Olivetti. In 1967 Olivetti replaces the semi-standard Studio 44 with the new Studio 45. Technical improvements and a new design with less rounded lines. The early versions are recognizable by the inscription “Olivetti Studio 45” on the carriage; later the inscription moves to the front of the casing. Plastic case that makes transport even easier. Produced starting from 1967.
Designer: Designed by Ettore Sottsass Jr. with the collaboration of Hans von Klier.
Materials: Made of ABS plastic.
Produced in Italy at Ivrea, first series. In the auction it is a first series, preserved and produced in Italy. It functions correctly and is accompanied by its original case. Dimensions 12 × 32.6 × 34 cm; weight of the machine 5.4 kg. Weight of the case 2 kg (case dimensions: 40 cm × 40 cm × 15 cm) for a total of 7.4 kg.
