Description from the seller
CONGO BELGE. Brussels. 10 Centimes. 1911. Albert I (1909-1934)
- Value: 10 Centimes.
- Reign: Albert I (1909-1934).
- Year: 1911.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: CONGO BELGE · BELGISCH CONGO, central five-point star with a circular hole and small decorative motifs around. Reverse: 10 C · 1911, large radiant star with a central hole and group of stars at the sides.
- Grade: MS62 (NGC).
Perforated 10 Centimes coin of the Belgian Congo with a geometric and symbolic design characteristic of early 20th-century Belgian colonial numismatics. The obverse features a balanced composition with a central star and bilingual legend, while the reverse stands out with a large straight-ray star and contrasting texture, giving visual depth to the piece. The specimen shows well-preserved relief, clean fields with original luster still perceptible and a smooth, uniform patina, with light surface marks typical of its grade, resulting in an attractive and well-centered piece.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
