I am offering for sale a rare vintage Green Chartreuse, bottled in Voiron by Chartreuse Diffusion (38503 Voiron, France), in a 35 cl collector format at 55% alcohol. Sealed bottle, from the classic period 1977-1979 (1970s sought after), with an intense herbal profile and less sweet than modern versions.
Technical Details
• Liqueur: Green Chartreuse (130 herbs and flowers, secret recipe of the Carthusian Fathers).
• Alcohol content: 55% vol.
• Capacity: 35 cl.
• Bottler: Chartreuse Diffusion, Voiron.
• Period: 1977-1979 (post-1975 Voiron period, highly prized).
• Stopper: Clear/gold aluminum screw cap, original, intact.
• Overall condition: Very good, level full to the shoulder, no leaks or oxidation.
• Others: No barcode (normal for the era), raised Chartreuse seal on the glass.
Features and Authenticity
Original front and back labels intact, clean glass with raised seal characteristic of Voiron productions from the 1970s. Ideal cellar conservation, bottle sound and ready for collection or prestigious tasting. These 35 cl Voiron examples from 1975-1982.
Herbal, mentholated and powerful aromatic profile, typical of the old 55° Voiron Green Chartreuse, before the reformulations.
