Philips valve radio – 1950s – classic model
For sale is an original Philips valve radio from the 1950s, housed in a distinctive wooden cabinet with glass scale and warm lighting.
This type of radio symbolizes post-war European radio technology. The wide long-/shortwave world-band scale with city overview, gold-colored markings and illuminated tuning give the device a very recognizable and decorative appearance. The combination of wood, glass and textile speaker fabric makes this a particularly atmospheric object.
