English craftsman - Commode - Mahogany

A four-drawer chest of drawers in the Colonial or George III style.
This style was particularly popular in the Anglo-Saxon world in the late 18th and 19th centuries.
Key style features:
Material: Typically made of mahogany, which gives it a deep reddish-brown color and elegant appearance.
Drawers: Consists of four full-width drawers, one above the other, each with two round, knob-shaped handles.
Plinth: So-called "bracket feet" design, where the legs consist of curved strips of wood starting from the corners of the furniture.
Top: The edge of the top slightly overhangs the frame, further emphasizing the classic proportions.
It is in good condition for its age, with minor signs of use.Judging by the inscriptions on the back, it has probably already been auctioned.
