Montblanc Meisterstück No. 254 fountain pen, produced in the second half of the 20th century in West Germany, with black resin body and cap, gold‑plated trim, 14K gold nib, piston filling, 133.5 mm long and 11.4 mm in diameter, one item.
Description from the seller
The pen shows a good state of preservation, with visible signs of use consistent with its age, being a Montblanc Meisterstück 254 produced in W. Germany.
The body and cap in black resin maintain structural integrity, with no cracks or breaks. Surface marks and micro-scratches are distributed, typical of continued use, noticeable mainly under direct light and not affecting proper functioning of the piece.
The gold-plated elements — especially the main cap ring — show evident wear of the plating, with visible loss and exposed brass areas, as shown in the images. The clip maintains its original shape, with wear appropriate to use and the engraving “W. Germany” legible.
The 14K gold nib (585) is intact, with no cracks or deformations, with the original engravings visible. It presents patina and normal signs of use, maintaining correct alignment. The ebonite feed is complete and in its original configuration.
The piston-filling system remains operative, offering functional operation appropriate to the pen’s age (not tested with ink recently, unless indicated otherwise).
Overall, it is an authentic, honest piece with no restorations, ideal for daily use with character or as a collectible pen, valued especially for its original patina and W. Germany markings, appreciated by Montblanc collectors.
It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
