Parker - 51 14K - Fountain pen

The fountain pen is presented in very good overall condition, notably preserving the integrity of its original materials and the distinctive character of a classic Parker 51.

The resin body in gray retains a uniform shine, with light surface marks typical of use and the passage of time, without cracks, fissures or visible repairs. The filling window is visible and correctly defined.

The cap, gold-plated in 14K, shows the longitudinal engraving well preserved, with natural patina and small signs of use in keeping with its age. The Parker arrow clip remains straight, firm and fully functional. The band engraved with the legend “1/10 14K Gold Filled – Made in U.S.A.” is legible, confirming its authenticity.

The 14-karat gold nib is intact, with no bends or breaks, and presents proper alignment. The feed is complete and without visible damage.

The blind cap corresponding to the filling system fits properly and shows no play. The internal mechanism has not been recently tested with ink, so a review or cleaning prior to regular use is recommended, especially for continuous writing.

Overall, this is an honest piece, well preserved and original, ideal for both collection and occasional use, preserving the iconic design and the quality that has made the Parker 51 one of the most emblematic fountain pens of the 20th century.
