Parker Sonnet fountain pen in resin/polyester with gold plating and an 18K gold nib, 13.3 cm long and 1 cm in diameter, originating from France and dating to 2000–2010, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
A0000003401
This Parker Sonnet fountain pen is presented in very good condition, showing a balanced combination of aesthetic care and proper functionality.
The body and cap, with a dark lacquered finish and a geometric grid pattern, maintain a uniform and well-defined appearance, with crisp lines and strong contrast. In good light, very light surface micro-scratches can be seen, typical of moderate and careful use, with no dings, cracks, or loss of material.
The gold-plated elements — arrow-shaped clip and central band engraved with “PARKER” — are well preserved, retaining shine and definition, with minimal and evenly distributed wear appropriate to the piece’s age.
The 18K gold nib (750) is in good condition, with aligned tines, no deformations or visible damage. It shows a soft natural patina from use, fully preserving its functionality and offering smooth, regular writing. The feed is intact and clean.
The cap closure engages correctly and the overall feel is solid and balanced in the hand.
Overall, this is a very well cared-for pen, fully functional and aesthetically attractive, suitable for daily high-quality writing as well as incorporation into a Parker collection.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
