Description from the seller

Extraordinary original flyer/brochure from 1932 by F. Serracchiani with the full program of the Carnival celebrations between January 28 and February 9 of that year in the French seaside town Nice. When opened, the brochure offers, among other things, a colorful and festive carnival scene / masquerade ball with numerous dancing, masked and costumed figures who clearly are having the time of their lives.

The image, just like all other illustrations in the brochure (recto/verso, see photos) were provided by François Serracchiani, who also has several posters for the Nice Carnival to his name.
In the professional literature we unfortunately find no biographical data about Serracchiani. It is certain that between 1927 and 1935 he worked on behalf of the Cannes city festival committee. The brochure offered here is in very good condition and shows only some light signs of use. All images are entirely intact. The richness of the colors speaks for itself.

Condition A - : thumbtack holes in the white top edge, normal fold marks and some creases along the edges.
Print: Imprimerie de L'Eclaireur - Nice (SADAG process) for the Comité des Fêtes et des Sports de Nice.
Shipping: In reinforced and secure packaging with tracking and insurance.
