Description from the seller
“FLOWERS OF FLIGHT” – Unique Sculpture
Artist: SKE
With Flowers of Flight, SKE forges a bold dialogue between two visual mythologies: that of engaged street art and that of athletic legend.
Inspired by Banksy’s iconic Flower Thrower, the sculpture captures the tension of the gesture — that frozen movement between revolt and projection — to transpose it into a new imaginary: that of elevation, performance and transcendence.
Here, the flowers become cultural symbols.
Air Jordan, the Nike logo, the Chicago Bulls’ ball are not mere references: they embody a collective energy, a global aesthetics, a generational heritage. Symbols that have moved from the field to the street, then from the street to contemporary visual history.
The black silhouette, deliberately anonymous, preserves the universal strength of the message: it could be anyone — or everyone. A body in tension, ready to throw not a bouquet, but a vision.
SKE does not remix a work. He extends an idea.
The idea that symbols change, but the gesture remains: that of drive, assertion, and breaking away from gravity — physical or social.
Between homage to street art, celebration of a legend and sculptural reinterpretation, Flowers of Flight captures the moment when urban culture, sport and contemporary art fuse.
A manifest work. A piece with presence. A fragment of collective memory solidified in matter.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a versatile palette who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring much of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with a double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the Urban Master contest first prize (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as “Artist of the Month” by Opulence Gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also asserts himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style now essential.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Ranked & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating Banksy’s subversiveness and the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to remix Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbol of greed. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes recalling Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar sign sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes evoking the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal to enrich a collection or bring a dynamic touch to your interior.
